Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

  • What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a powerful therapeutic model that combines the dissociative, neuroplastic effects of ketamine with the structure and support of guided psychotherapy. KAP provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore emotional wounds, uncover new insights, and begin meaningful healing.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, KAP allows individuals to access deeper layers of consciousness, tap intotheir own inner wisdom, reduce psychological defenses, and accelerate breakthroughs in treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and trauma.

  • Who is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy For?

KAP may be a good fit for individuals who:

-Are living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or unresolved trauma

-Feel stuck in traditional therapy models or medication regimens

-Are experiencing grief, loss, or existential distress

-Want to explore their inner world with therapeutic support

-Are seeking a structured, supported healing process

I am here to guide you through the process of deciding whether KAP would be a good fit for you.

  • What Should I Expect When I Start KAP?

Each KAP experience is carefully designed to meet you where you are. The process typically includes:

-A medical and psychological evaluation to determine your readiness for ketamine therapy. I partner with Yuko Blue at Stellar Genesis for medical evaluation to provide a seamless and integrated experience

-At least 3-4 preparation sessions to set intentions, share information and build trust

-A series of 3-6 ketamine sessions (weekly or every other week), delivered via sublingual troches or intramuscular (IM) injection

-Integration sessions occur between medicine sessions to process your experience and turn insights into lasting change

-Sessions take place in a calm, supportive and comfortable environment
